Havas Creative China has named Ilo Leung (pictured) as the creative partner for its Guangzhou office, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Leung will report to Ben Sun, CEO of Havas Creative China.

This comes as the agency is investing in the prosperity of the Greater Bay area, starting from Guangzhou office.

Since 2009, Leung has helmed numerous senior executive roles such as the creative director, marketing director and creative partner of a global agency and brand.

He has been deeply involved in advertising creativity for more than 10 years and has served games, FMCG, aviation, fashion, catering, among others.

He has made solid achievements in traditional advertising, digital marketing, and cross-border integration strategies; he is also involved in product planning, brand renewal, IP licensing, events and exhibitions and other large-scale integrated communication work, and is also responsible for team management, business development, and operational leadership.

Sun said: “As a high-level creative talent, Leung will bring more creative, meaningful and in-depth content narratives, visual presentations and integrated marketing solutions to Havas China; especially in the dynamic world of the Greater Bay Area[…] He will work with Havas Creative’s existing talent partners to help Havas expand its business in the region; seize the opportunities of the times and geography, and jointly contribute to the creative ecosystem.”
