Avyan Global names new CEO as it drives regional expansion

Digital, design and technology group Avyan Global has appointed Gautam Dutt (pictured) as its partner and CEO for the agency. 

In his new role, Dutt will be responsible for driving the expansion of Singapore-headquartered Avyan Global through accelerated client acquisitions and regional expansion primarily focused on Southeast Asia and India.

Avyan Global currently has operations across Philippines, Australia and India and is actively looking to strengthen its Southeast Asia and India operations through investments in the next 36 months. 

Dutt brings with him extensive industry experience having held senior marketing and agency roles across India, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore in his career. He was most recently with Oplifi, a digital media agency that he founded in 2015, which was subsequently acquired by Yaap.

Before this, Dutt held multiple senior roles at Havas Group including heading the Shanghai office of Havas Media China and spending five years as the head of digital operations for Havas Media Singapore and Malaysia. He is credited with scaling multiple Havas Group operations and achieving significant business results and growth, said Avyan Global in a statement.

Avyan Global is not the only company appointing a new CEO. Recently, Singapore-based creative agency The Secret Little Agency promoted Eunice Tan  to helm the agency as its new group CEO. She will take over from Nicholas Ye who was previously CEO in addition to being one of the agency's founders, it said when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out. 

Tan steps into the new role after helming the agency’s strategy department for well over a decade as head of strategy. She has also been a partner at the agency since 2009. Prior to her stint at The Secret Little Agency, Tan was at TBWA\ Group Singapore where she handled account management.
